through the eyes of a Kindergartener. I never thought I would get so many funny comments this time because I didn't last time I was pregnant. I guess that is the difference between a first grader and a Kindergartener. I just wanted to share some of the hilarious things I get to hear quite often.
"Mrs. Dow your belly is getting BIGGER" - told to me everyday by one little girl. I actually refuse to accept the fact that it gets bigger everyday.
Child - "How did the baby get in your tummy?"
Me - "When a mommy and daddy love each other they can make a baby."
Child - "But how did it get in your tummy?"
Me - "That is a great question to ask your mommy or daddy."
The next day as I am thinking I have put off that question another child says to me - "Mrs. Dow, I know how you got the baby into your tummy."
Me- "Oh, really, how?"
Child #2 - "You ate it!"
Now I really couldn't stop giggling after this one. It's funny to see what parents come up with to tell their child the ins and outs of life. I'm going to have to come up with something good for when my children start asking this question.
I've also got the question of how do I get the baby out of my tummy to which I have replied that the doctor takes it out. "But how? Does it come out of your mouth?" Yet another question for mommy and daddy I guess.

Cars
My son has all of a sudden formed an obsession with the movie Cars. We had really only watched it about 3 times in his little life and then about 2 weeks ago he started talking about "cahs". He's a true easterner. As soon as we walk in the door after we get home for work he starts saying "I un cahs". Over and over. He walks right to the laundry room door and tries to open it. That is where we keep all of our movies in order for him to leave them alone. I only let him watch it about 2 times a week because that is all that I can handle of a movie. So we got him a Lightning McQueen football and a little Lightning McQueen car hoping that it will help a little bit with watching the movie. So far he is never really without one or the other. I just don't understand where this love for all things Cars has come from.
Sick When Pregnant
Being sick when you are pregnant is the worst. You are already miserable when you are sleeping and this can make it ten times worse. Tossing and turning all night long instead of just half of the night. Waking up your husband and crying because you don't know what to do. Just laying around because your back hurts already and the head cold is making you dizzy. Worst of all you don't really want to take any medicine because it could hurt the baby. What we do for these beautiful little children. Sorry about the rant. Here are a few pregnant pics for ya.
About 23 weeks.
And this last one was earlier this week. Almost 27 weeks. Plus I know I am huge. Please do not feel the need to tell me this. I am only 5 feet tall by the way.
