Smiling and Cooing

He smiles a lot now too, just never when I want to take a picture of it. This is the closest I've come to getting one.

Well Linc has started cooing at us a lot. I love to hear his little vocal chords going to work. I can't wait until that little word "mama" comes out of his mouth.

First Airplane Ride

This was Linc's first ride on an airplane. He slept through most of both flights. I was very glad. So let me tell you an interesting point from the ride. I had to take Linc out of the carrier and hold him during take off and landing. I guess it is safer to do it that way than for him to be strapped on me. Someone please explain that to me.

Lake Mozingo

This is the cabin we stayed in at the lake. It was pretty nice. We had a fun time boating even though it stormed the night we got there. We still went out in the cold weather, I bet the people in the next cabin wanted to turn us in to DCFS.
Here is the lake. We are going to have a Barrett Family reunion here next summer.
Lincoln's first swimming adventure - let's just say he didn't love it. If you click on the pic you can see his red face.

The Zoo

When we were in Iowa we got the opportunity to go to the zoo. The Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo is such a cool zoo. I've always loved going there. We had a pretty fun time and got to see a lot of cool animals. I was even scared by a statue of a lizard!!!

So Grown Up

I got my hair cut in Iowa to surprise Todd when I got home, he likes my hair short. I like this picture because Lincoln looks so big and so much like Todd.
My parents have these little chairs for all of the kids and one day I decided to put Lincoln in one and he looked so grown up in it. I know he is in a girly one, but he still looks so handsome.

Rolling Over

Just wanted to show you all the video. I get a little loud when he actually does it. I was pretty excited so I gave a big "yeeeaaaahhh". Hope you don't mind. He has done a few more times since then and he is really getting good. Anyway I will blog more about our trip later, I am pretty tired.

Big Milestone

Lincoln rolled over yesterday, 3 times. I even got a video of it on my camera. I will put it on as soon as I get home. I can't believe he did it already. I have to put his arms up by his face to do it, but he can do it from his tummy to his back. He hasn't done it since last night, but I hope that he will do it again on Saturday for his Daddy.
