Pictures

Well obviously I can't decide which pictures to put on, so here are a few to look at. Here is a picture at the hospital. A first family photo.

His hair sticks up in a little fohawk most of the time. I absolutely love it.

Kind of a blurry picture, but it shows the fohawk off really well. And in this picture he is wearing his FBI onesie. Todd's friend had it made especially for Lincoln.
Here he is with his eyes semi open. It is so fun to just sit and hold him when he is awake.

He has finally started to get into a routine at night, so I can actually get a few hours of sleep after each time he wakes up. Someday I'll figure everything out so I can get a routine during the day as well. We are so happy to finally have him here. Sometimes I just look at him and wonder how he fit inside of me. It is amazing.

HE'S HERE

Well, I just quickly wanted to let everyone know that our little boy finally decided to make his appearance into this world. He was born on Saturday, May 24, at 11:46 am. He weighed 9 lbs and 5 oz and was 20.5 inches long. Since I'm holding him and typing one-handed, I will write more later with some pictures.

No Internet

Well I haven't posted for so long mainly because we don't have internet at our house right now. That is another painful story in and of itself, but we should be getting it very soon. (It's sooo expensive.) Well on Tuesday I will be exactly 40 weeks pregnant. I'm really hoping that I don't make it that far, but I probably will. My mom will be here tomorrow, she's been checking on me about every four hours since Thursday to make sure I'm not having any contractions. I did tell her I would call, but apparently she doesn't believe me. So hopefully the next post you will see on here will be Todd and I with a happy little baby.

Baby Shower

I tried to do this the other day, but blogger wasn't working so here it is. These are some pictures from the baby shower on March 22. I have a lot more, but I thought these were the most important. Thank you to all who came and gave me gifts. I can't wait to use them with this little baby inside of me.

8 Months and Counting

Well I am definitely ready for this baby to be here. My feet are so swollen these days that I can hardly be on them without feeling like they are going to burst. I'm so excited to have Lincoln here that I keep praying he will come early. I know it is probably a false hope, but maybe the doctor will see how big he is and how little I am and he will induce me....we can always hope right. We are moving next weekend and my last day of teaching is on Friday. A big weekend is planned for us. I can't wait till it is all over and we have our sweet baby at home with us. Just 3 and a half more weeks till he is due!!! Anyway here is my big belly. Knew you would all want to see it.

Easter

We went to an Easter Egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter and these are a few pictures of the kids picking up treats. They all absolutely loved it. Especially McKenna, she was really fun to watch. She couldn't decide whether to pick up the egg or hold on to her basket. It was really cute.

Don't Tell Me

Well I know you will all want to tell me I told you so after this, but I can't help myself from hoping. We went to the doctor on Thursday and we had an ultrasound. No surprise to anyone from the Dow side, he is measuring big. I don't know all of the exact numbers, but the doctor says he is measuring to be due on May 13th. That is 9 days early. The bad news is that my doctor won't induce just because of size. So hopefully, I will just be ready at that time, maybe my water will break. If I have to go a week over my actual due date (May 22nd), he will probably be huge. So everyone pray for me to go early.
