Stake Conference
Last night and today we had stake conference. Because of our Stake Presidency being released and a new presidency being called we had the great opportunity of having Elder L. Tom Perry at our conference. For the Sunday session we decided we wanted to be there early in order to be close enough to see well. We were very glad of our decision when we saw Elder Perry walking around shaking hands with those already there. We were one of the lucky couples who got to shake his hand and got to speak with him for just a moment. It was a special experience for us both. Especially me since it is the first time I've had the opportunity to shake an apostle's hand. We had a great conference too.

Hey guys! We keep checking your blog - but then it occured to me that (Besides being busy) maybe you havn't posted because none of us have commented on your last post - how rude of us! When no one comments - it feels like no one has read your post. We are so glad that you got to shake hands with an Apostle - it's a wonderful experience. Todd likes to arrive early and sit on the front row, Katie, so you may shake hands with lots of GAs in your lifetime. :) We're anxious to see pictures of your shiny new sccoter - we don't know what they look like.
